Designer Rail - 43mm diam - Oblong Base Plate (Black)

Description

Where would you normally use this stainless steel handrail fitting?
As part of the Designer Rail handrail range. It can be either used as a base plate at the bottom of a  support post, or as a wall bracket for fixing stainless steel tube between 2 walls.

What is it made out of?
316 grade Stainless Steel in a Black finish.

What are the important dimensions?
This fitting fits over the end of 43mm dowel or handrail.

Can it be used for exterior application?
As it is 316 grade Stainless Steel with a black finish, it is suitable for use outside.

How do you fix it to the handrail?
A timber screw is provided with the base plate. To ensure the timber does not split, we recommend first drilling a pilot hole. No connectors are needed for this fitting.

How does it fix to the wall/ground?
It uses 2 screws (not supplied) to fix into timber or into a plastic plug (not supplied) if fixing to brick or concrete.
