Where would you normally use verandah posts ?
As a decorative support post, perhaps on a balcony or verandah.

What is it made out of ?
Plantation grown Radiata Pine that has been finger jointed and laminted for stability.
It is H3 treated for external application, and is suitable for above ground use.

What are the important dimensions ?
Overall : 2700mm Height x 90mm Width x 90mm Depth
Length of top square : 825mm
Length of top turning : 850mm
Length of middle square : 150mm
Length of bottom turning : 425mm
Length of bottom square : 450mm

How should you finish it ?
A water based primer/undercoat is not a necessity (although it wouldn’t hurt), but at least 2 coats of the final colour is a must.
Leaving it unfinished, oiling it or using a clear lacquer is not recommended.
