Kevin, Thanks For 50 Years

Kevin, Thanks For 50 Years

In today's world it is hard to find staff who want to work for you for 10 years; which is even more amazing when you consider that this week our foreman, Kevin, chalked up 50 years of work with Hammersmith Woodturners.

Employed by my Grandpa as a 16 year old in 1963, Kevin quickly showed us his worth to the business, where within a relatively short period of time he worked his way up from a junior to the top role of foreman (more commonly known these days as factory manager).

Although his last name may not be Groth; my Grandpa, my Dad and myself have always considered Kevin to be part of the Groth family; as he has played a huge role in making the business the success it is today.

We know at some stage Kevin will retire, and when he does, it will be a huge loss, but all indications are that Kevin is not quite done yet, so we all hope that he can rack up a few more years with our family business.

Thanks.
