Pre-Drilled Wire Balustrade Support Posts

Wire cable looks great when used as part of a balustrade on a deck or balcony. If the drop is greater than 1 metre (from the deck to the ground) then your handrail must be at least 1 metre high and the spacing between cables can't be any greater than 80mm; which means you need 11 cables. We have a pre-drilled stainless steel support post that fits these specifications.

Measuring 960mm in height this 40mm wide by 5mm thick post has 7mm diameter holes drilled at 80mm intervals, and comes with a pre-drilled top and bottom plate for easy fixing to your deck and handrail.

When using 3.2mm wire cable it is recommended that you have a post every 1.5 metres, so that the wire won't spread apart. Obviously the point of using wire cable is to minimalise the visual impact, and this post helps achieve this by being only 5mm thick.
