We have recently added a range of ready-to-use stainless steel balustrade posts to accompany the other stainless steel balustrade fittings that we sell.

These posts are made from 316 stainless steel and are available in either a mirror or satin finish. There are also 2 types of posts available; one for flat (horizontal) balustrade and one for angled balustrade such as on a staircase. Within each type of post you can choose from 2 wall thicknesses; 1.6mm or 3.0mm. In most situations the 1.6mm will suffice, but the 3.0mm is handy for end posts when wire balustrade is being used.

Once you have selected the type and finish of post that you need, then all you need to do is select the saddle to suit the type of handrail that is going on it.

One other cool feature of these posts is that the heavy duty base plate comes with grub screws that can be adjusted to help correctly align the post perpendicular to the surface it is being fixed to. This is particularly handy in situations where the surface is slightly uneven.
