For the majority of balustrade situations a stainless steel tube with a 1.5 or 1.6mm wall thickness is more than sufficient enough.

Occasionally though there is a demand for a heavier wall thickness, particular when being used for pool fencing, commercial work and end posts on a wire cable balustrade.

As a result of this, we have just recently added a 3mm wall thickness stainless tube in a 50.8 round profile. It is in a 316 grade and a mirror finish.

The sales of this product will never be as great as for the regular tube, and as a result we won't be keeping the same amount of stock, but our aim is always to have a few lengths available for customers to access when required.
