Vertical and Angled Leg Plates
Tuesday, July 08, 2014
It is funny how history tends to repeat itself. Back in the 1960's we were regularly manufacturing simple turned tapered legs for use on various pieces of furniture; and here we are now 50 years later doing the same thing again. Following on from a number of requests from our customers, we are pleased to announce that we now also have a range of vertical and angled leg plates (as well as T-nuts) to make using these legs even easier.
There are three products that we have added;
1. A T-Nut that is knocked into the base of a piece of furniture (such as a lounge), into which the leg will screw.
2. A Vertical Leg Plate, which is fixed to the bottom of the furniture with 3 screws (not supplied), into which the leg will screw.
3. An Angled Leg Plate, which is also fixed to the bottom of the furniture with 3 screws (not supplied). The leg will screw into this on a slight angle.
These products will work with any of our legs that use 5/16" lag screws, and all of them (as well as the legs) can be found here in our online shop.
