Ever since we began running our dowel handrails in American Oak, we’ve been getting requests to run it some of our other, more specialised profiles/ranges. One of our oldest, and most popular handrail designs is the “Heritage Rail” profile (sometimes referred to as the “lady’s waist” or “bread loaf”), so we thought it was high time we gave it a bit of a facelift. Moving forward, we’re going to be offering it in two new timber species: American Oak and Meranti.

In addition to these straight runs, you’ll also be able to purchase bends, scrolls, infill and a whole range of other fittings to help make the installation process as easy as possible.

If you’re looking for some treads to finish off the job, we’ve got you covered! Our American oak treads are the perfect size for use on stairs with single stringers- however, we’re always happy to run treads and risers in custom sizes to suit your project.
