Heritage Handrail Available in 4 Timbers

In the early 2000's we decided it was time to re-introduce timber handrails to our business. We had been making handrails 10 years earlier, but for a variety of different reasons we had stopped doing so.

We wanted our first handrail profile to be a very traditional looking design, so after a bit of a Q and A with our customers we came up with our Heritage Handrail profile, which was 65mm wide and 65mm high.

Up until last year this profile was available off the shelf only in Pine (finger jointed) and Victorian Ash. The Pine was for painting and the Vic Ash was for polishing. Following requests from our customers we have now added 2 new timbers to the range; Meranti (aka Maple) and American Oak.

All 4 of these timbers along with a massive range of components that allows you to produce a continuous timber handrail can be found in our online shop.
