Hammersmith manufacturers a range of newel post caps for stairs. For quite a while now we have produced caps to suit 90x90mm and 115x115mm posts, but more recently we have added a new size to suit a 155x155mm post !

These caps are designed to easily drop over the top of the post and are a great way of decorating a staircase. They are also available in a large variety of timbers.

We have been manufacturing timber fence post caps for well over 20 years now; but our 3 most popular turned styles still remain the windsor, ball and acorn designs; as shown in the picture below.

These 3 turned post tops have overall diameter of 93mm, and are designed to go onto a 90 x 90 timber fence post.

They are made from Radiata Pine, then treated for exterior use.

Apart from our standard EZIRAIL timber handrail system that we manufacture for use in hospitals and aged care facilities, we sometimes get a call to manufacture different designs for the same type of use.

Below are some photos of a timber handrail, commonly know as a "Key Hole" design, that we recently had to tool-up and produce.

At Hammersmith's we have 2 timber moulders that we use to make our handrail on, as well as timber mouldings and dressing timber for our own production needs.

These 2 machines are not always in use, so we are happy to dress other peoples timber, for a fee of course !
