Description
Where would you normally use handrail brackets ?
To fix a piece of handrail to a wall.
What is the bracket made from ?
202 Stainless Steel in a Satin finish.
This bracket is for INTERIOR USE ONLY. Please use the 316 Stainless Steel version (IF500XSS) of this bracket if exterior application is required.
What are the important dimensions ?
Distance from the wall to the centre of the handrail: 75mm.
Thread/screw major diameter: 10mm
Spacing between brackets depends a lot on the type of handrail and timber you use; but anywhere from 900 to 1500mm is a good guide.
Do all of the handrails that we sell work with it ?
The plate that the handrail is fixed to is flat; so it will work with all of our flat bottom handrails.
If you want to use it with one of our fully round handrails, then you will need to purchase the IF502XSC curved plate.
How does it fix to the wall ?
It uses one centre screw (supplied) to fix into timber or into a plastic plug (supplied) if fixing to brick.
