FAQ

Where would you normally use timber stair treads ?
A tread (or step) is what you stand on when climbing a staircase.

What is it made out of ?
Plantation grown Radiata Pine that has been finger-jointed and laminated.
The glues used on this product are not suitable for exterior (outside) use.

How should you finish it ?
As the finger-jointing is visible, we suggest that it should only be used for painting purposes.
If wanting to stain and lacquer, we suggest using the Vic Ash or American Oak version of the same tread.
Speak to your local paint retailer for more info.
